The official Synopsis for Hawaii Five-0, Season 1 Episode 12: "Hana 'a'a Makehewa" is below.

"Hana 'a'a Makehewa" - It's Christmas in Hawaii, but instead of celebrating, Five-0 is negotiating a hostage situation when the man who killed McGarrett's father resurfaces. The murderer, Victor Hesse, threatens to detonate an explosive that he's strapped to Chin Ho's chest, on Hawaii Five-0 Monday, Dec. 13 10/9c on the CBS Television Network. James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) reprises his role as Victor Hesse.


"Hana 'a'a Makehewa" is Hawaiian for "Desperate Measures."
